Anchor Review


1.	What action can you take when severe weather is immediately threatening or your craft is disabled ?:
		A	Call the Coast Guard for immediate rescue.
		B	Fire your emergency flares.
		C	Speed up if possible, and head for a marina.
		D	Anchor your vessel, then wait out the weather or radio for assistance.


2.	What should you check before anchoring ?
		A	Check that the water is clear to the bottom.
		B	Check that the depth is at least 10 meters.
		C	Check that the anchor line or rode is attached securely to the anchor at one end and to the boat at the other end.
		D	Check that the anchor gear is completely dry before use.
